Responsibilities
- Assist warehouse team, and logistics team with brand specifics
- Help verify lanes and assist with getting drivers on the road
- Reconcile orders, and shipments daily
- Placing stock and customers’ orders daily
- Assist customers with orders, credits, and backorder parts
- Handle telephone parts orders called in by wholesale accounts
- Conduct regular telephone solicitation on assigned accounts
- Inform customers when parts specially ordered for them are received
- Help maintain parts stock in orderly condition
- Assist with regular parts inventories and the selection of parts for return under parts obsolescence protection program
- Assist in physical re-arrangement of layout of parts
- other duties assigned by the Wholesale Parts Director
Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- 2-3 years Parts Manager experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Tech savvy and comfortable with computers
- Three year of experience in an automotive parts department preferred
- One year of sales experience ideal
- Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time
